Starting today, General Motors has begun selling DC adapters compatible with Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its EVs, marking a significant transition.
Customers can purchase NACS DC adapters through their vehicle's mobile app for $225, which also assists in finding the nearest Supercharger stations, enhancing convenience.
While the NACS adapters are initially available only to US customers, future GM EVs will include them standard, eliminating the need for additional purchases.
GM's delay in releasing these adapters could be linked to changes within Tesla, including the firing of its Supercharger team earlier this year.
