Ford's BlueCruise Hands-Free ADAS Is Now Cheaper
Briefly

Ford has reduced the price of its BlueCruise advanced driving assistance system, with subscriptions now costing $49 monthly, down from $75. This change reflects Ford's commitment to making its technology more accessible, inviting new users to explore hands-free driving options.
Starting this month, BlueCruise owners will benefit from the price drops in subscription plans, with the annual fee decreasing from $800 to $495, making long-term use more economical and potentially boosting the adoption of autonomous driving features.
For 2025 vehicles, Ford eliminated the three-year subscription option but introduced a one-time purchase for BlueCruise at $2,495, granting users indefinite access. This approach diversifies customer choices and aligns with current preferences for ownership over subscription.
With the latest version BlueCruise 1.4 reducing disengagements significantly, Ford’s technology promises longer hands-free driving periods. This upgrade will be available on select new models and as an over-the-air update for existing vehicles.
