Father, two children identified as victims in fiery fatal Pleasanton car crash

The identification of a woman who also perished in the crash, believed to be the wife and mother, is still awaiting official confirmation, the coroner's office said. They were all killed about 9 p.m. April 24 on Foothill Road near Stoneridge Drive.
Authorities said Tarun George was driving a VinFast electric car, produced by a Vietnam-based automotive company, when it left the roadway, crashed into a tree and caught fire. Passerby were able to pull three of the occupants from the vehicle and they were pronounced deceased at the scene.
