Daniel Ochoa, 39, was arrested after allegedly firing a pellet gun during a road rage incident, leading to charges of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Witnesses reported that Ochoa, driving a red Honda Civic, fired what looked like a gun at another vehicle on Route 146, prompting police intervention.
Upon arrest, officers discovered a black pellet gun in Ochoa's vehicle, which closely resembled a real firearm, creating a serious public safety concern.
The court ordered Ochoa’s detention with a $1,000 bail, and he is scheduled to return for a pretrial hearing on October 15.
