BMW Supercharger Access Potentially Delayed Until 'Later In 2025'
Briefly

BMW has announced that access to Tesla's Supercharger network for its electric vehicles will be delayed to "later in 2025" instead of "early 2025" as previously stated.
In a press release from October 2023, BMW indicated that drivers of BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce Electric Vehicles in the U.S. and Canada would gain access to Tesla Superchargers, highlighting the importance of integration with vehicle apps.
BMW's decision to postpone access does not necessarily suggest a delay; however, it raises customer expectations regarding seamless Supercharger integration for navigation and battery optimization.
Until access is granted, BMW recommends using charging stations equipped with CCS1/J1772 connectors to ensure that customers can still effectively charge their electric vehicles.
