BMW i7 facelift brings Gen6 cells from Rimac, 350+ miles range, and drops Level 3 for cheaper Symbiotic Drive

The 2027 BMW i7 was revealed at Grand Central Terminal and Auto China, featuring Gen6 cylindrical cells from Rimac and a charging capacity of 250 kW. The i7 60 xDrive offers over 350 miles EPA range, while the i7 50 reaches 611 km and the M70 targets 686 km. BMW replaced Level 3 autonomous driving with a Level 2 system and revamped the interior with Panoramic Vision and an 8K Theatre Screen. The new battery technology aims to enhance BMW's competitiveness in the electric vehicle market.
