After four months of ownership, I'm very eager to see how the Kia EV6 performs in a real upstate New York winter, but in the warmer months, it remains a range and charging monster. I've consistently achieved over 300 miles on a full charge, showcasing a remarkable performance for a dual-motor EV. Recently, I've adjusted my charging habits to fill it to 80%, which has resulted in about 230 miles of range, aligning perfectly with the EPA estimate of 282 miles.
Despite being busy with work-related travel, my enjoyment of the EV6 hasn't diminished. With my wife also enjoying it and declaring it the best car she's owned, the evidence of its effectiveness is clear. Having driven several competitors, it’s easier to pinpoint its strengths and weaknesses, establishing an exciting dialogue about what makes this model excel in its category.
