Kevin McCauley's 'Waiting for the Sun to Come Down' is a photographic exploration that captures over 100 cars in dramatic sunset lighting, showcasing their beauty through natural contrasts.
The book visually details the use of natural light, focusing on vintage and modern vehicles, demonstrating the contrast between sun-lit highlights and deep black silhouettes.
'Sometimes the camera can capture a drama in these scenes that you don't always notice in person. That's what I am always chasing,' says McCauley.
He finds the setting sun makes the photographs feel alive, unlike overcast skies, which he describes as 'dull and washed out' in comparison.
