The overall results revealed that 64 per cent of those surveyed had 'never heard of it', while 14 per cent 'have heard of it but don't know what it means' and just 11 per cent 'have heard of it and know what it means'.
People aged between 18 and 24 were more likely (29 per cent) to know what the term means than those above the age of 65, with just four per cent of the older adults being able to say what a Brat is.
