
"Police say two men and two boys are facing criminal charges after a 24-year-old man was kidnapped in Vaughan, Ont., and held for several days. York Regional Police say the victim was in a parking lot in the area of Jane Street and Highway 7 on Nov. 14 when suspects confronted him and forced him into a vehicle. Police say the suspects released the victim, who had minor injuries, in the area of Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue in Toronto on Nov. 19."
"Police say search warrants were executed in several homes in Toronto and four people have been arrested and charged. A 31-year-old man and an 18-year-old man from Toronto are charged with kidnapping for ransom, forcible confinement, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and arson, among other charges. Two 15-year-old boys are charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and arson."
