"One man is dead and another man is seriously injured after a head-on crash in Markham on Monday evening, York Regional Police say. The crash between a Volkswagen and a Honda happened on Reesor Road and 16th Avenue, police said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday. Police said they were called to the scene at about 5:40 p.m."
"Paramedics took both drivers to hospital, where a 61-year-old man was pronounced dead. The second, a 50-year-old man, remains in hospital. Reesor Road is closed between Highway 7 and 16th Avenue as officers investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call York Regional Police."
A head-on collision between a Volkswagen and a Honda occurred at Reesor Road and 16th Avenue in Markham on Monday evening.
