Forecasts indicate a second wave of winter weather set to start Friday evening, with Tahoe potentially receiving the heaviest snowfall on Saturday, including gusts up to 100 mph.
Meteorologist Eric Kurth warns that traveling, particularly on Saturday morning, could be very difficult due to steady snowfall rates reaching up to 2 inches per hour, especially on Donner Pass.
