Will I get a mail-in ballot in California? When are they sent? What to know as election nears
Briefly

Californians will be able to choose from candidates for president and vice president as well as U.S. senators and representatives, making their voices heard on various propositions.
County officials will mail out ballots 29 days before the election, meaning voters can expect their ballots on or around Monday, Oct. 7.
Mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, and received by the elections office no later than seven days after.
You can also track your ballot online to know when it has been sent, received, and accepted by your county's elections office.
