Mammoth Mountain is inundated with snow - the most for the month of November in a decade-plus
Briefly

Mammoth Mountain recorded its snowiest November since 2010, with nearly 50 inches falling during the significant storm from Nov. 23-26, totaling 62 inches this month.
Meteorologist Gigi Giralte emphasized the importance of the recent storm, calling it 'the first big storm of the season,' marking a crucial start for winter.
Although this month saw impressive snowfall, the 88 inches from November 2010 will still hold as the record for this century, according to Giralte.
Looking ahead, the Southland will enjoy mild weather over the Thanksgiving weekend, with temperatures reaching up to 80 degrees on Sunday.
