The shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Wilbur Avenue, according to Antioch police Lt. Franco Cesar. Officers provided medical aid to the victim until Contra Costa County Fire Protection District personnel arrived at the scene. The man was then taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not life-threatening, Cesar said."
