DataBreaches identified an unsecured Amazon S3 bucket owned by Transform Studios, which was exposing Khalil Center's data, and the issue was quickly resolved after notification.
The Khalil Center has taken prompt action to secure their data and avoided paying extortionists KillSec3, despite the prior exposure of sensitive information.
Researcher @JayeLTee confirmed that the data leak may have been exposed since July 2020, highlighting the long-term risks of unsecured data.
