Newrez is imposing a workforce reduction of 317 employees at its Greenwood Village, Colorado, facility, former SLS site, with separation dates starting Aug. 2. Jobs affected include those in bankruptcy, customer care, default, and valuations.
After acquiring Computershare and SLS, Newrez faced restructuring, resulting in the recent layoffs. In Q1 2024, it originated $10.8 billion in mortgages, up 55.2% year over year.
