IAM District 751 criticized Boeing for sending the second offer to the media rather than negotiating directly, stating "The company was hell-bent on standing on the non-negotiated offer."
Boeing's withdrawal of its non-negotiated offer came after IAM District 751 rejected both offers, asking for a 40% pay rise and reinstatement of the traditional pension plan.
