The Brooklyn Nets have announced that forward Noah Clowney will not return for the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season following injuries. Over the course of 46 games, Clowney averaged 9.1 points and demonstrated growth, evidenced by teammates’ encouraging remarks about his potential. Despite experiencing significant injuries, including multiple ankle sprains, both Trendon Watford and Ziaire Williams highlighted Clowney’s bright moments during the season and expressed optimism for his development as he prepares for his third year in the league.
“I think he had some bright spots, and he probably knows what he has to work on going into his third year,” Trendon Watford said.
“I think he had a phenomenal season,” Ziaire Williams said of Clowney. “I thought he showed a lot of growth, not just on the court, but just mentally.”
