Briefly

On Nov. 15, 30-year-old Brian Irizarry lost his balance and fell onto the roadway at 4th Avenue and 60th Street in Sunset Park. Unfortunately, he was struck by a truck, and despite the efforts of EMS, he was pronounced dead on arrival. The following day, on Nov. 16, another pedestrian incident occurred when a 60-year-old man was hit while crossing Flatbush Avenue at Hendrickson Place. The man, reportedly outside the crosswalk, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old. This incident raises concerns about pedestrian safety and adherence to crosswalk laws.
