"PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS - AN 81-YEAR-OLD WOMAN was found dead shortly after midnight on Friday after a fire broke out on the fourth floor of a Prospect Lefferts Gardens apartment building, News 12 reports . The blaze, at 35 Winthrop St., was reported by neighbors, who said they smelled smoke. First responders discovered the woman unconscious and unresponsive and pronounced her deceased at the scene."
