Police are investigating a report where individuals robbed, pistol-whipped, and fired a gun at a victim in West Brighton. The victim was approached by two armed individuals, robbed of $2,500, identification, and a cell phone.
One or more of the individuals fired a gun at the victim while fleeing. The 29-year-old man sustained injuries from being struck in the head with a gun during the incident.
The victim did not seek medical treatment following the robbery, assault, and shooting. The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made yet.
