The event, running from 6 to 9:30 p.m., aims to raise funds for the nonprofit's health equity initiatives and holistic mental health and recovery services for vulnerable New Yorkers. The theme, V.I.B.E. - short for Valuing Inclusion, Belonging and Equity - reflects the organization's 25-year mission of providing safe, supportive services."
""We selected a theme that aligns with our vision of providing hope, empowerment and community connections," CEO Taina Martinez-Laing said in a statement. "V.I.B.E. represents what the organization stands for - the life-changing work we continue to do to ensure that every voice is heard." Guests will enjoy a live performance by the Kevin Oliver Jr. Group in "an elegant setting mirroring New Orleans jazz clubs from the 1950s/1960s era." A silent and online auction will feature artwork by the late Isaac Brown, the organization's co-founder, along with a luxury vacation package."
