Leon Howell, 43, was arrested by NYPD in connection with a violent incident in Brooklyn Heights where he attempted to rob and rape a 51-year-old woman. The attack occurred in broad daylight after Howell posed as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent. According to police sources, he forcefully shoved the victim into a stairwell, attempted to rape her, and managed to flee with some of her belongings before being apprehended on Thursday.
On Tuesday, a 43-year-old man was arrested for a violent attempted robbery and rape incident in Brooklyn Heights, where he posed as an ICE agent.
The NYPD has confirmed that Leon Howell allegedly attacked a 51-year-old woman in broad daylight before attempting to rape her and fleeing with her belongings.
