Firefighters battled a fire early Friday at a store in East Flatbush, responding with sixty firefighters to suppress the blaze that erupted just after 11:45 a.m.
The fire, which broke out in the scrap salvage area of the building, saw firefighters using three hose lines and a tower ladder to bring the flames under control.
Over the past five years, the area has experienced more than a dozen fires, highlighting a concerning trend of repeated incidents at this location.
Fire marshals are now involved in investigating the cause of the fire, as they seek to determine the origin of this latest incident at the problematic site.
