A raging fire broke out at the Moxy Brooklyn Williamsburg hotel, sending bright flames and smoke into the early morning sky around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
The blaze, which started on the first floor and engulfed the outdoor dining space, was brought under control shortly after an hour by responding authorities.
Guests and staff evacuated the hotel, enduring rain as they fled from the fire but were later allowed to return, some choosing to leave due to smoke.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident; however, the cause of the fire is still currently under investigation.
