Detectives are investigating a shooting in Brooklyn that occurred in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon. Police received a shot spotter alert at 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 2, responding to find a man with gunshot wounds to the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition. Investigators are working at the scene where the gunman, who shot into a nearby car, has yet to be apprehended.
Upon arrival at the scene on Fulton Street and Logan Avenue, officers discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics quickly transported him to the hospital, where he was reported to be stable. Meanwhile, officers from the Emergency Services Unit were able to recover multiple shell casings, marking a significant point in the ongoing investigation into the daylight shooting.
