Sherry Cardoso's culinary journey began in a small Brazilian town, influenced by her family's farm. After moving to the U.S. at 14, she attended culinary school and worked in prestigious kitchens like Le Cirque and Per Se. Cardoso served as executive sous chef at Brooklyn Fare and led various restaurants, collaborating with restaurateur Greg Baxtrom. She now focuses on sustainability as chef/partner of Cynthia's in the West Village, expressing satisfaction with the food produced in her new role.
