Bronx 2 train service to be disrupted on Aug. 30-Sept. 2 weekend: MTA - Bronx Times
Briefly

The MTA announced there will be no subway service on the No. 2 line between 3 Av-149 St in the Bronx and 96th Street in Manhattan, due to track replacement work.
During the weekend shutdown from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2, No. 2 train service will run at intervals of every 12 minutes between Wakefield-241 St and other terminals, with free shuttle buses provided.
Free shuttle buses will operate from Friday at 11:30 p.m. through Monday at 5 a.m., easing access despite the No. 2 line's service interruption.
The MTA aims to minimize transit disruption with shuttle buses making various stops between key stations, ensuring commuters have viable alternatives during track work.
