A24 has announced the biopic 'Tony' focusing on the life of Anthony Bourdain, starring Dominic Sessa in the lead role. Directed by Matt Johnson, the film's screenplay has been co-written by Todd Bartels and Lou Howe. Set in 1976 Provincetown, Massachusetts, ‘Tony’ explores Bourdain's early years just before he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. This marks the second screen portrayal of Bourdain's life after the adaptation of his memoir 'Kitchen Confidential' in 2005 and the posthumous documentary 'Roadrunner' released in 2021. No release date has been announced yet.
