According to Boston police, a hit-and-run accident in the South End on Monday evening resulted in one individual dying and another sustaining serious injuries, with the incident still under investigation.
The authorities reported that when officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man and woman who had been struck by a vehicle. The woman later succumbed to her injuries.
While the identifications of the victims have been made public, Boston police have confirmed that the driver involved in the crash has been identified, although no arrests have been made.
