Cambridge school resource officer reassigned pending investigation into firing of gun in school bathroom

Officer Greenidge promptly reported the incident to his supervisor allowing the police department to quickly respond and process the scene.

The Cambridge Police Department has strict policies regarding the use, maintenance, and storage of all department issued firearms.

Greenidge has been a member of Cambridge police since 1987.

Police said the findings will be released to the public upon completion of the investigation.
