In this funny, self-deprecating memoir, the real Winkler is revealed as an anxiety ridden fanboy: an encounter with Mick Jagger, for example, leaves him feeling lower than whale poop on the bottom of the ocean.
This may not be easy reading, but it's made memorable by Perry's unflinching candour and defining dry wit: he couldn't be any more honest.
