'Getting there very slowly but surely' - Remco Evenepoel makes progress in recovery with first outdoor ride since crash
Briefly

Remco Evenepoel, the Olympic champion, has resumed outdoor cycling two months after an accident that caused multiple injuries including fractures and nerve damage. After extensive recovery, he completed his first rides of 64km and 67km near Brussels. Although he won't be racing until April 18 at De Brabantse Pijl, Evenepoel plans to participate in the Ardennes Classics and focus on the 2025 Tour de France. He seeks to regain his competitive form after a delayed start to his season.
Evenepoel will ride a full Ardennes Classics campaign from the Amstel Gold Race to Liège-Bastogne-Liège before racing the Critérium du Dauphiné.
