plastique fantastique's domed installation hosts sound and light spectacles in bavaria
Briefly

Resonance of Shadows, created by Plastique Fantastique and Pablo Diserens, is a mobile installation showcased at the OUT OF THE BOX FESTIVAL. This immersive project explores the interaction between light, movement, and sound as it travels through Bavaria. The installation’s design creates a surreal environment, reacting in real time with its surroundings, particularly with nature. Musicians perform within the installation, casting distorted shadows that integrate into the visual aspect of the work, highlighting the interplay of reality and abstraction throughout different chapters of the experience.
The project explores the interplay of light, movement, and sound, creating an immersive experience that transforms its surroundings during a journey of discovery across Bavaria.
Designed as a series of evolving chapters, the installation reacts to its environment in real time, merging nature, architecture, and public space into a surreal landscape.
This ephemeral setting invites an evolving interplay of silhouettes and reflections, dissolving boundaries between reality and illusion, permanence and impermanence.
In another chapter, the translucent sphere takes center stage as a performance space, where musicians' distorted silhouettes become part of the installation's visual language.
