This Boutique Hotel Uniquely Occupies Detroit's Former Fire Department Headquarters
Briefly

The hotel’s facade pays homage to its roots as a firehouse-bright red doorways under stone archways look ready to send fire brigades to the rescue, but when they're thrown open, they instead serve as windows to the merriment within.
The enormous dining room is none other than the hotel’s on-site food and beverage concept, The Apparatus Room. With enormous windows and creative lighting fixtures, this communal space is constantly bathed in light, providing the perfect backdrop to enjoy a meal or a meeting.
All 100 hotel guestrooms and suites feature a locally crafted headboard by Detroit Salvage, leveraging repurposed car hood materials and paints from automotive factories.
If you can, spring for the Commissioner's Suite, a large room clearly built for entertaining. Previously the office of the city's Fire Commissioner, it stands as an example of the hotel’s unique blend of history and luxury.
