Good news on Mala Grohs to end the year: the FC Bayern Women goalkeeper, who was diagnosed with a tumour in October, is on the road to recovery.
In the best case, the 23-year-old will be able to train with the team again from January. It was Grohs' personal wish to provide an update on her current condition before the winter break.
This is tremendous news in what was a scary situation. Massive credit to Grohs and the medical team treating her for their perseverance.
