FC Bayern strongly condemn the racist comments being directed towards Dayot Upamecano on social media. Anyone who comments hateful words such as these is no fan of our club.
The red card means Upamecano will miss the second leg in Munich on 5 March.
They lost 3-0 to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday to fall five points behind Xabi Alonso's side in second and have already been eliminated from the German Cup.
