"Neuer, Urbig, and Sven Ulreich will man the position well for Bayern, but Nübel is in a tough spot. After three seasons at VfB Stuttgart, he no longer has a place in the squad going forward - the life of a loanee. This juncture has been a long ways coming, and now it is here. Can Bayern find an English club in time before Nübel comes back on the club's books?"
Manuel Neuer’s contract extension confirms Bayern Munich’s goalkeeper situation for the coming season. Alexander Nübel’s prospects of returning to Bayern have been ended after Jonas Urbig’s rapid development. Bayern have decided not to treat Nübel as a serious option for the future and want to avoid any disruption among the current goalkeepers. The club aims to find a solution, ideally by selling Nübel to a Premier League club. With four years left on his contract and a reported salary of about €11 million per year, finding a buyer is expected to be difficult. Stuttgart cannot afford him and plans to use Dennis Seimen instead.
