The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson as part of their moves before the 2025 season. Wilkinson, who has past experience with the Falcons after starting nine games in 2022, played limited snaps in 2024. His role was mainly on special teams, with participation in just a couple of games. Given his familiarity with the team and ability as a starter, he is likely to be favored for a roster spot unless the Falcons make other significant roster changes.
This isn't Wilkinson's first time with the Falcons. Back in 2022, he started nine games at left guard and was on the field for every offensive play during that time.
Wilkinson originally joined the Falcons' practice squad in late August before being moved to the active roster when the season began.
Due to his familiarity with the Falcons and experience as a starter, Wilkinson will likely have an inside track to a roster spot if the team doesn't make any more major additions.
In 2024, Wilkinson played in just two games for the Falcons: he contributed sparingly during a win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 and a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.
