Joe Jimenez could miss 2025 season, per reports
Briefly

Joe Jiménez could miss all of next season after undergoing surgery to repair cartilage damage in his left knee. The Braves say he could be sidelined 8-12 months.
Jiménez was one of Atlanta's key high-leverage relievers in 2024 appearing in 69 games with a 0.990 WHIP. A free agent after the 2023 season, Atlanta signed him to a three-year, $26M that runs through the 2026 season.
Jiménez was amongst the best right-handed set-up men in the National League this season with a 2.48 xERA and above-average to borderline elite metric thanks in part to an increased usage of his slider.
The loss of Jiménez is a significant blow to the team's bullpen construction in 2025. They will return Pierce Johnson, Dylan Lee and closer Raisel Iglesias.
