"In the past, 80% of our technology support came from external contractors," Ricci admits. He spearheaded the hiring of thousands of internal engineers, data scientists, and architects and established 'digital factories' across several countries. This change aimed to enhance self-reliance and foster internal innovation.
Describing the new operational model, Ricci explains, "we have a scientific pipeline and a digital pipeline managed together in symbiosis." This indicates a comprehensive approach that integrates digital and scientific endeavors, streamlining processes in line with modern demands.
