Nvidia plans to make DeepSeek's AI 30 times faster - CEO Huang explains how
Briefly

The rise of DeepSeek's R1 AI program triggered market volatility in January. In response, Nvidia is leveraging its Blackwell chips and new Dynamo software to dramatically enhance processing speeds for DeepSeek. During a presentation, Nvidia's CEO showcased the improvements brought by Dynamo, which allows for massively parallel processing across numerous GPU units. This could not only increase efficiency but also enable AI factories to offer premium services due to higher revenue potential per token processed, as efficiency and throughput rise.
"Dynamo can capture that benefit and deliver 30 times more performance in the same number of GPUs in the same architecture for reasoning models like DeepSeek," said Ian Buck.
"AI factories can offer a higher premium service at premium dollar per million tokens," said Buck, "and also increase the total token volume of their whole factory."
