Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has forecasted considerable growth in the global autonomous vehicle and robotics industries in the upcoming decade. During the VivaTech conference, he emphasized that this will be the era for autonomous vehicles, highlighting Nvidia's innovations, including the Nvidia Drive platform for self-driving cars and a new AI model known as Cosmos Predict-2. Huang expects relentless advancements in AV technology, asserting that soon every car will have some level of autonomy. Meanwhile, companies like Waymo are capitalizing on this trend with an increasing number of paid robotaxi services, which riders are willing to pay a premium for.
This is going to be the decade of AV [autonomous vehicles], robotics, autonomous machines," Huang told CNBC in an interview at the VivaTech conference in Paris.
You're going to see the pace of AV development increasing tremendously over the next several years," he said at the event.
One day "every single car" will have an autonomous component," he asserted in a discussion.
Customers are willing to pay more for the robotaxi experience, as expressed in a recent report shared with TechCrunch.
