Nvidia announces DGX desktop "personal AI supercomputers"
Briefly

Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang announced two innovative AI supercomputers, DGX Spark and DGX Station, powered by the Grace Blackwell platform at the GTX keynote. Targeted at developers and researchers, these systems provide local AI capabilities for prototyping and running large models efficiently. Designed to serve as desktop AI labs, they simplify transitioning to cloud infrastructure. The DGX Spark is equipped with a powerful GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, while the DGX Station boasts the more advanced GB300 chip. Major manufacturers like Asus and Dell will bring these systems to market, with DGX Spark reservations starting immediately.
Since the systems will be manufactured by different companies, Nvidia did not mention pricing for the units. However, in January, Nvidia mentioned that the base-level configurations would be competitively priced.
AI has transformed every layer of the computing stack. It stands to reason a new class of computers would emerge — designed for AI-native developers and to run AI-native applications.
