Microsoft Notepad will soon feature a 'Rewrite' function, allowing users to revise text with AI based on their preferred tone, format, and length.
The Rewrite function offers three variations of a rewritten text selection, which users can choose from or revert to the original as needed.
Filtering is implemented in generated text to uphold Microsoft's values and standards, although users might still encounter occasional undesirable outputs.
Generative Erase and Fill tools will enhance Paint, enabling users to remove objects and make edits using text descriptions.
