"We wanted to take Silicon Valley back to its roots, where companies were hatched in garages," said Chaddha, whose winning investments include Lyft, Poshmark, and HashiCorp.
"We're trying to partner with people who want to become entrepreneurs at the idea stage, even before they've started a company," Chaddha told Fortune.
