The HubSpot Global Events Team is incorporating AI into its creative strategy for INBOUND 2024, moving beyond static imagery to more engaging visual content. By using tools like Midjourney for graphics and Runway for animations, the team aims to create interstitials that foster engagement and spark conversation amongst attendees. This year’s themes are intended to push branding boundaries while still being recognizable. A focus on innovation through AI promises to enhance the attendee experience and elevate the overall brand presentation during the event.
This year, AI has been big, and we got an intro to Midjourney and the work that Eduardo had been doing with the tool. We decided to look into that to add more interest to our screens, create a new element so people have something to look at that sparks conversation, if they're sitting and waiting and working between sessions.
We didn't want it to feel like, 'Oh yeah, this is very on the brand. It's exactly what we would expect.' We wanted to explore, because AI gives us these possibilities - you can take it anywhere you want but still maintain the same style of the brand.
