MGIE allows users to alter and edit images by providing text instructions. It can perform basic editing tasks like adjusting contrast and brightness, as well as more complex edits such as adding vegetable toppings to a pizza and removing objects.
MGIE is just the first step in Apple's generative AI journey. It's not likely to make an appearance on any of Apple's current devices, but it's likely a sign of things to come.
