"Malmö is growing and Skånetrafiken is helping to develop mobility in the city. With this agreement, we create the conditions for a continued positive and sustainable development of public transport in the city, with the customer in focus," says Saman Tondnevis, Head of Business Area Bus at Skånetrafiken.
"Out of 300 buses in operation as of 2027, 95 will be electric. In 2032, according to tender's specifications, all the buses operating in the concession will be zero emission," as stated in the recent tender report.
